Years 3 & 4 - New IPC Topic on "Chocolate"
For our entry point to our ‘Chocolate’ Topic we had a senses laboratory in the classroom. The children had to use all five senses to investigate chocolate. We smelt and tasted milk, white and dark chocolate to see if there were any differences. We felt room temperature chocolate and frozen chocolate to see if it felt the same. We also ate chocolate with popping candy in it, then listened to see if we could hear anything. Finally, we left a piece of chocolate on our hand to see what happened!
