Year 5 and 6 Girls Football Tournament

On Wednesday seven girls from Years 5 and 6 represented Brookwood in a football competition at Woking Leisure Centre.  The girls played magnificently and gained a well earned draw in the first match after an excellent finish from Renata.  With the organised defence of Molly, Scarlet and Miranda tackling and passing, it allowed Amy and Emma to control the midfield.

Brookwood continued to improve and won their next two games against the hosts Greenfield and local rivals Bisley!  A lot of credit must go to Libby 'safe hands' for some fantastic goal keeping.  In addition to some super saves, Libby's quick and precise distribution created lots of goal scoring opportunities.

The team continued to improve and despite losing to the eventual winners Horsell, the team should be very proud of their achievements and results.

Thank you to Mr Harding for coaching the team to such success and well done again to the girls.  The whole school is immensely proud of your performance and attitude and it was a pleasure to be involved!
