School Garden Update
Finally, it stopped raining long enough for groups of Year 6 children to venture outside to rake and bag up the leaves that had formed a blanket over the school garden. Despite being hard work they all seemed to to really enjoy this activity.
The school had purchased ten large jute bags to collect the leaves in. When left outside, the leaves and the bags should decompose naturally to create leaf mould which will be great to use as a mulch on the garden next autumn.
