School Garden Update
The beautiful weather over the weekend has seen some of the bulbs which we planted in the autumn begin to bloom.
Having warmed up the new raised beds by covering them up with some sheeting, some children in years 5 and 6 performed the first planting of the new season. They put in two rows of onions and two of hard-neck garlic.
A couple of the year 6 girls also extracted the seeds from last year’s sunflowers which we had kept and these were then put into a bird feeder and hung up in the School Garden.
