School Garden Update
As the weather has warmed up, Year 6 have been out in the garden sowing pea, spring onion, radish and spinach seeds. We even had to water the beds as the soil was so dry.
We also took delivery of a cold frame which was made from recycled pallet boards and an old piece of polycarbonate. A huge thank you must go to Mr Coe for spending some of his free time putting this together and to Mrs Fookes for donating the polycarbonate. The cold frame will be used for hardening off seedlings before planting them out in the garden.
We also received some bamboo canes from Mrs Kenny which we will use to grow our runner beans up, when we are ready to plant them out.
Hopefully, as you visit the school you will have seen the pots which welcome our visitors, they are looking lovely at the moment with all the bulbs about to bloom.
Enjoy your Easter holiday!
