Year 6 have learning about how the blood transports nutrients around the body.  This experiment is showing how our digestive system breaks down the food we eat in order to enable the blood to do this.  Inside thee cups are gummy bears.  Slowly, but surely, the different liquids (similar to the acids and bile our bodies produce) are breaking them down.
