Children in Year 3 enjoyed a sunny walk to the Brookwood Cemetery on Monday.  Their task was to identify types of rocks used in gravestones and to observe different types of weathering on the gravestones. The children had a wonderful time exploring and enjoyed the task of studying and touching the gravestones, while finding different types of weathering (moss, cracks, crumbling stone, gravestones leaning, and more). The children were very well behaved and respectful the whole time we were at the cemetery. Well done Year 3!
